Prairie Bonnet

Western Prairie Bonnet similar to the “Little

House on the Prairie” and bonnets seen in

western movies.

I designed the bonnets to have a little more fullness in the bonnet than what the original pattern dictated. This bonnet differs from the Authentic Sun Bonnet on this web site because the brim of the Prairie Bonnet is approximately 3 ½” deep, while the 1790 Isobal’s Sun Bonnet brim is 7 ½” deep. This bonnet will not completely cover the face, but will assist in blocking some sun light. I have priced the bonnets lower than the leading competitor, even after you add shipping & handling fees.

The picture above is an example of the bonnet that I make. The yellow bonnet is a Prairie Bonnet with a 3 ½” brim, while the purple Sun Bonnet has a wider 7 ½” brim.
